Terra Incognita Photograph, 365 x 260 cm, 2012.
This version of Terra Incognita depicts a clear cell RCC magnified about 180 times. The artwork is reminiscent of how closely the microscopic sometimes is the macroscopic. The term terra incognita was used in the 1500s by cartographers to highlight areas that had not yet been documented.
